At the conclusion of tonight’s Finance Committee meeting, the Fincom budget recommendation remains unvoted.
The current state of the FY2027 “No” budget remains in draft form, and the accompanying five-year projection continues to revolve around the initial budget guideline of approximately 4.5% reductions.
The projection includes substantial common-size cuts across all major Town departments and demonstrates that, through FY2031, additional nominal reductions would be required in each successive year in order to maintain a balanced budget under the “No” scenario.
Board of Selectmen is expected to post for Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 at 6:00PM to continue discussion and possibly finalize the FY2027 budget recommendation aligned with the result of the ballot vote of Saturday, May 9th.
